Community Service in the Andies (for Teens)
Quito is surrounded by mountains, with three snowcapped volcanoes in view on a clear day. Its climate has been described by many as eternal spring, due to its location close to the equator at high altitude. Teens ages 14 to 18 spend 2 or 4 weeks in the Spanish immersion Program including all activities and excursions, then have the option of continuing up to 4 weeks with combined Spanish classes and Volunteer activities. Teen Study-Volunteer programs start in June and July.
