Learn Spanish or Guarani in Paraguay
About the School and Area The Idiomas en Paraguay is a language school dedicated to teaching Spanish and Guarani to foreigners. The administration and staff believe that the "direct personalized" method is one of the best ways to learn Spanish and Guarani. In the school's individual or small group classes, students learn to use grammar correctly and to converse. The school is open all year round and offers an environment that makes students feel at home. School staff provide not only linguistic instruction, but also cultural exchanges, tourism services, a fraternity club and participation in a variety of activities including folk celebrations, exhibitions and competitions in which students can demonstrate their skills in Spanish and Guarani. The school is recognized by the Ministry of Education of Paraguay and students come from countries all over the world, such as Germany, France, Korea, the United States, Japan, and China, creating an international atmosphere. Nestled in the heart of South America is a little country with a fascinating culture, two lovely national languages and delightful people. Bordered on most sides by virgin rainforests and their lure of safari adventures, waterfalls and indigenous groups, Paraguay is a country with no seaside but with many attractions for tourists. Asunción, the capital and largest city in the country, is built on low hills above the east bank of the Río Paraguay. Though there are few colonial buildings remaining, one is Casa Viola, which is now a museum. Other sights include the Casa de Cultura Paraguaya, the 19th-century Cathedral and its museum, and the Casa de la Independencia, Asunción's oldest building dating 1772 and site of the declaration of independence. The city also boasts some very inviting parks, such as the Jardín Botánico.
