Give back while you learn a language and take away an experience of a lifetime. Teachers, professionals and students are welcome at specially designed volunteer programs that complement their language and culture study. The opportunities are many and varied, so use your valuable experience and gain some in return.

Opportunities are available throughout Latin America - including:
Sucre, Bolivia: Group Spanish 4 hours daily combine with volunteer work. Teaching (in Spanish) Preschool, Middle and High School Children, Environmental Protection & Rural Community Development in Agriculture, Teaching Computer Skills, and Teaching Assistant of English are available. Intermediate level Spanish: minimum 2 week Spanish course is required; Beginning and Post Beginning levels 4 week minimum Spanish course required prior to volunteering.

Quito, Ecuador: 2 weeks preparatory classes of 20 classes followed by a 1 month minimum volunteer program. Participants must have a University degree or be working toward one and a resume is required. Areas in Teaching English to Middle and High School Aged Girls (October - June), Art Education for Children and Adults (Professional Artists Only), and Translation are available, as well as Child/Infant Nutrition, Support for Women in Jail, Environmental Protection and Work with Indigenous Peoples, Shelters and Homes for Street Children and Children of Prisoners, Orphanages, Community Development, Agriculture, and Medical.

La Ceiba, Honduras: Group 20 hours per week combined with Practice Teaching at an area school or college. Basic Spanish language level is required and commitment is a minimum of 4 weeks. Also available are volunteer positions in Social Services, Ecology, Business, Medical, etc.

Cuzco, Peru: Group 4 hours daily for 4 weeks combined with 4 weeks volunteer in Teaching English, Helping Deaf and Disabled Children as In-Class Assistant, Organizing Dance and Music classes for Children, Museum Work. ALSO AVAILABLE for longer time commitments are Shelters for Children, Orphanages, Homes for the Elderly, Human Rights Organizations, Kindergarten - Secondary School Teaching. Minimum Spanish level depends on volunteer project.
